I had a go at learning some HTML over the weekend, and i am getting closer to being able to understand this layouting business. when i say getting closer, last week I knew nothing and now i have a layout, its pretty much done (i think ill still change some stuff), but i worked from instructions and the template. i am hoping next time to do it slightly more independently. but still fun. and i got to make a header image for it which is a great excuse for graphics! yay! so now i can celebrate my NEW LAYOUT credit where credits due - i used a help guide 
for the stuff didnt understand made by irinafan and used as my base the code from lilbreck layout butterfly but i wrotes it myself

got my cousins birthday tonight, which is an excuse for my family to spend too much time together. cant figure out how i seem to be the only person who realises a three-hour cut off for these events would go a long way to keeping the piece. that said, the adults can fight amongst themselves, have two beautiful cousins, Thomas and Christine, and they are still young enough to think i am cool. however thomas is getting too bg for me to throw over my shoulder.

Also, i have discovered the joys of stillness contests, i love graphics and this gives me an opportunity to actually have a goal in mind when i start. i am a member of goreneamesstill tww_iconathon and have just joined bones_stills so i am getting my moneys worth (figuratively as my journal is a basic accout) anyway, i have done pretty ok, and i get bannersss which makes me happy. check under the cut

 

so all is going well, got to do some real work now.
